Ms. Megan Milito

Faculty

Megan Milito began her dance training when she was three years old in Chicago, IL and has had a passion for dance her whole life. Her younger years consisted of dance studies in many different styles while performing and competing in competitions. Her favorite accomplishment was winning the Universal Dance Association National Championship with her elite dance team, The Maine South Hawkettes. After High school, Megan moved to Iowa City to attend the University of Iowa where she obtained her Dance degree and yoga teaching certification. During this time, Megan also spent a summer working for Universal Dance Association, traveling around the Midwest teaching dance teams, while enhancing her teaching and dance knowledge. On top of coaching the Cedar Rapids Washington Dance team and dancing for the Cedar Rapids IFL Titan Dolls, Megan was also a dance instructor and choreographer at Prestige Dance Studio under the director, Jess Ott Novotny. After five years in Iowa, Megan took her dance passion to Los Angeles. Megan received a Certification at Millennium Dance Complex where she studied under world renowned choreographers and teachers. While continuing to study the art of dance, Megan is also the Dance Director for the Korean American Music Academy, one of the most acclaimed youth choirs in the United States. Megan was then fortunate enough to receive a spot on Timothy Tristan Dance Company where she experienced more performances, training and choreography opportunities. Megan continues to travel around the Midwest teaching and choreographing and is currently teaching a Revolution Dance Center.
