Recital 2024

WHAT?
RDC hosts a recital at the end of each school year for our dancers to share everything they have worked on with their families and friends. You will see performances from The Company, Dance Ambassadors, and our Pre-Professional Program.

WHO?
Everyone will be enrolled unless you opt out by Jan. 31st 2024.

WHEN?
June 6th, 7th, 8th 2024

Tentative Show Times:
Friday, June 7th 4pm -
Primary (ages 5-6)

7:00pm - Preteen
(ages 9-12)

Saturday, June 8th
10am - Mini/Tot
(ages 2-4)

2pm - Junior
(ages 7-8)

6pm - Senior (ages 13+)

COST?
There are 2 fees associated with the recital. There is the participation fee and the costume fee. Both fees are non-refundable and non-transferable and are due shortly after the cut-off date.

Recital Fees:
1 Dancer - $60
2 or more Dancers - $75

Costume Fees:
Each costume has a set price which covers the costume, tights if required, and accessories. You will be responsible for the shoes. The costume price is located on the Costume Sheet.

WHAT?
Welcome to the enchanting world of our 18th annual Holiday Show!

We are thrilled to have you with us as we embark on a magical journey inspired by the timeless masterpiece, The Nutcracker, infused with the essence of Disney.

Prepare to be captivated as we weave together the classic tale with a touch of Disney magic, bringing you a performance that is both familiar and wonderfully reimagined. As the story unfolds, you will see performances spanning various styles and age groups.

We are so excited!

WHO?
We have options for a variety of dancers. Listed below will be what styles are available for all the different age groups.

Tot (ages 3 to 4)
- Tap (Sat 1:30)

Primary (ages 5 to 6)
- Ballet (Sat 12:30)
-Hip Hop (Sat 1:30)

Junior (ages 7-8)
- Hip Hop (Sat 12:30)
- Lyrical (Sat 1:30)

Preteen (ages 9-12)
- Hip Hop (Sat 12:30)
- Lyrical (Sat 1:30)
-Jazz (Sat 2:30)
-Rockettes (Sat 3:30)

Senior (ages 13-18)
-Jazz (Sat 2:30)
-Rockettes (Sat 3:30)

WHEN?
Sept 5 - Registration Opens
Sept 29 - Registration Closes
Sept 30 - Rehearsals Begin
Nov 13 - Tickets go on sale
Nov 18 - Cast Party
Dec 2 - Dress Rehearsal/Show

Rehearsal Dates
September 30th
October 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
November 4th, 11th, 18th*(closed on November 25th for Thanksgiving break)

*On November 18th we will not have a regular rehearsal it will be a full run through starting at 3:00pm
