Charlotte Smith

Miss Charlotte Smith is a Los Angeles and NYC based award-winning choreographer and filmmaker, dance artist, and educator. As Artistic Director of Charlotte Katherine & Co., Her work is presented nationally and internationally including, Los Angeles Dance Festival, Seoul International Dance Festival (South Korea), LA, NYC, Seattle, San Diego, and Carmel By-The-Sea.


In 2018 her first evening-length work was commissioned in collaboration with composer, Zac Greenberg, and live orchestra, concertnova, in Cincinnati, OH - the event raised over $70K for The Barrett Center for cancer research. In addition to modern concert dance, Miss Charlotte choreographs music videos and live stage commercial dance: most notably, “My Way” with Noah Cyrus.


Miss Charlotte primarily teaches contemporary modern dance forms and ballet on the West Coast including classes for Revolution Dance Center, Pony Box Dance, California Dance Arts, BrockusED, UC Irvine, Loyola Marymount University, MCD, Contemporary Modern Dance Collective (CMDC), Cornish College of the Arts, Brockus Conservatory, and Idyllwild Arts Academy.


Miss Charlotte is an alumnus of Idyllwild Arts Academy (Outstanding Dancer of the Year 2008), SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance (Purchase Dance Corps Company Member), and graduated Cum Laude as a scholarship student with a BFA in dance from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA


When not dancing, Miss Charlotte is a Board Member and Executive Assistant of the non-profit organization, SpectorDance. She received RDC Employee of the Month in January and September of 2019.
