Amanda was born and raised in La Crescenta. She has been dancing since the age of 8 when she met Julie Kay Stallcup. Amanda was one of Julie’s first dancers in Montrose and she became an original member of JKDC. She has had the privilege of performing, competing, and being part of many amazing experiences throughout her many years with RDC and JKDC. Amanda also has experience as a captain, competitor, and choreographer for both her high school and college dance team. Amanda graduated from California Lutheran University in 2014 with a degree in Communication. She has been trained in many styles of dance and continues to educate herself on teaching styles and techniques. Amanda has the opportunity to assist with several convention opportunities with LADM and Dance Teachers Summit over the past year. Here at RDC Amanda teaches kids in many age groups starting with our mommy and me program all the way through to teens. This will be Amanda’s forth year with RDC as a part of the amazing teaching staff, Dance Ambassador Director, along with being our Events Director in charge of all the service projects, and other exciting events the studio take part in during the year. We can’t wait to see what this year has in store for our RDC family!
