Bondy Juarez is from Vista, California and received her first training withNew West Ballet School and then went on to study with San Elijo Dance andMusic Academy. She attended Pacific Northwest Ballet School’s SummerIntensive Programs in 2004, 2005, and 2006. In the Fall of 2006, she beganher undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles andjoined the newly formed Los Angeles Ballet Company, led by Colleen Nearyand Thordal Christensen. At Los Angeles Ballet, she danced in Neary /Christensen’s The Nutcracker, Bournonville’s La Sylphide and several worksby George Balanchine including Concerto Barocco, Serenade, Rubies, FourTemperaments, Who Cares?, and Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No.2. Bondyalso danced in Jennifer Backhaus’s he said/she said and American Camelotand Melissa Barak’s Lost in Transition. Bondy graduated from UCLA in2010 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in World Arts and Cultures andEuropean Studies. She completed her Master of Fine Arts degree in Dancefrom UC Irvine in 2012 where she presented her thesis concert, CorpsConcepts. Bondy has also performed as a free-lance dance artist in the SanFrancisco Bay Area appearing with Peninsula Ballet Theatre, MenloweBallet, and No Strings Attached Dance Company. She has taught andchoreographed for several schools and programs in Northern and SouthernCalifornia and loves sharing her passion for ballet with her students.
