MS. JOANNA (Jojo) Burke

Joanna Burke (Jojo), originally from Phoenix, Arizona, began dance class at age 3.  When she grew to understand that ballet is the basis of all dance, she studied at Arizona’s professional ballet company.  Jojo has trained in tap, hip hop, and has a great passion for jazz and lyrical, including contemporary.  She is fortunate to have trained and worked with some of the top choreographers from hit television shows like “So You Think You Can Dance” and had the opportunity to travel and compete before working as a professional actress and voice actress in Hollywood. Through apprenticing at a young age, she developed a love for teaching and choreographing for children of all ages. By the age of 17 she became a contracted teacher and choreographer and has won several choreography awards for different dance studios.  In 2011 she started a business called Jojo’s Dance Divas & Dudes so she could travel to different Community Centers, Summer Camps and Schools contributing to each city’s dance programs.  In 2017 she was invited to be a part of the Revolution Dance Center family and is excited about continuing to provide a loving and safe environment where children have the freedom to create and make discoveries through the art of dance.
