Bondy Juarez is from Vista, California and received her first training with New West Ballet School and then went on to study with San Elijo Dance and Music Academy. She attended Pacific Northwest Ballet School’s Summer Intensive Programs in 2004, 2005, and 2006. In the Fall of 2006, she began her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles and joined the newly formed Los Angeles Ballet Company, led by Colleen Neary and Thordal Christensen. At Los Angeles Ballet, she danced in Neary / Christensen’s The Nutcracker, Bournonville’s La Sylphide and several works by George Balanchine including Concerto Barocco, Serenade, Rubies, Four Temperaments, Who Cares?, and Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No.2. Bondy also danced in Jennifer Backhaus’s he said/she said and American Camelot and Melissa Barak’s Lost in Transition. Bondy graduated from UCLA in 2010 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in World Arts and Cultures and European Studies. She completed her Master of Fine Arts degree in Dance from UC Irvine in 2012 where she presented her thesis concert, Corps Concepts. Bondy has also performed as a free-lance dance artist in the San Francisco Bay Area appearing with Peninsula Ballet Theatre, Menlowe Ballet, and No Strings Attached Dance Company. She has taught and choreographed for several schools and programs in Northern and Southern California and loves sharing her passion for ballet with her students.
