JKDC is RDC's dance competition and performance team.  JKDC is an audition-only group of just over 80 young people, ages 7 to 18 who LOVE dance, enjoy performing and love spreading the joy of dance.  Auditions for JKDC are held each summer during the Dance Fusion Intensives.  Click here for information about the Dance Fusion Intensives.

JKDC members are required to take at least 3 hours of dance per week in the areas of ballet, jazz and turns & leaps.  Most JKDC members also tap classes in tap, lyrical/contemporary, broadway and sometimes hip hop.  JKDC members are also required to attend one hour of rehearsal every week for each group dance the participate in.  

JKDC competes in three to four regional dance competitions in the Southern California area each year, at least one weekend dance convention and attends a National dance competition every two years.  In addition, JKDC performs at many local community and charity events.
