What is RDC's Make Up Policy?
Any missed classes may be made up by attending a class of same level or lower or same age range within the same calendar month. If the dancer miss classes in the last week of a calendar month, the dancer may make up the class before the 15 th of the following calendar month. No credits or refunds are given for missed classes. It is the dancers' responsibility to track missed classes (including dates missed). The front desk will verify the missed class prior to granting a makeup.
There are no makeups for classes missed because of holidays, for Unlimited dancers, or for classes missed in any other calendar month.
If you know you are going to miss a class, you can make it up earlier in the month too.
If you need to make up a class, please come to the front desk to get a "Make Up" slip to bring in to class.
Does RDC have an Attendance Policy?
Yes, Students are expected to be present and on time for all classes. Please notify the school if you expect to be absent. Please arrive promptly, but not more than 15 minutes prior to class time. Parents, please pick your children up promptly at the end of class.
Attendance Policies : Absences must be reported to the Front Desk prior to the beginning of class. RDC reserves the right to have dancers arriving 10 minutes or more late to class or who do not dress in appropriate dance attire, sit out the remainder of class and just observe. Warm up is critical in preventing injury and to enhance the productivity of the class. A minimum attendance level will be required. Dancers missing more than 5 classes or 3 consecutive classes after March may not be allowed to participate in the year-end Recital and there will be no refunds of costume or recital fees.
Do I need to let the studio know if my child will be absent?
Yes, please!! We would appreciate a phone call.
Can I drop or cancel a class?
Yes. You can drop or add a class at anytime (space permitting) and you can withdraw from RDC at anytime but you will be responsible for paying for a full month of classes if you cancel after the 1st of the month. You may also request that auto debit be stopped at anytime but it will be effective at the beginning of the next calendar month. To drop a class or withdraw your dancer from RDC, you will need to do it in person at the studio - no phone calls please.
If your child is in a full class and your child has not attended the class for 3 consecutive weeks without a phone call from the parents with a request and payment to maintain his or her space, your child may be dropped from a class to allow others to participate without a refund or credit for tuition paid or owed.

What are your fee policies?
Registration Fees: Each student will be charged a non-refundable annual registration fee payable in September, or upon registration. Discounts may be given for multiple students for a single family. Class fees will be higher if the registration fee is not paid. Registration Fees are $25.00 per student or $45.00 per family. There is no prorating registration fees.
Tuition: Fees for class participation may be paid by the month or by the class. Per class fees are higher for non-registered students. Monthly tuition charges are based on the entire year (September through June), billed monthly at 4 week months from September through May (including December) and 2 weeks in June. Costume Week and Picture Week classes are charged as regular classes. Classes may be cancelled at any time but classes not cancelled before the 1 st of the month will be charged for the full month. If you want to cancel a class, you must come in to the studio in person. Non-attendance in a class is NOT considered notice that you want to cancel a class.
Tuition can be paid by cash, check or credit card. RDC reserves the right to have dancers sit out of classes, without makeups if their account has outstanding balances for any charges.
Because of different school calendars, RDC does not close for a spring break and no credits will be given for school vacations or holidays. Monthly tuition rates are not affected by holidays or school vacations. When the studio is closed for the Thanksgiving weekend (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) and the Memorial Day Weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Monday), student accounts will be credited for classes missed on those days.
No credits are given for missed classes during a month that are not made up.
Late Fees Tuition payments are due on the first day of the month and will be charged a late fee of $10.00 if not paid by the 15 th of the month. If you are on Auto debit and your credit card does not go through, you may be charged a late fee if you have not resolved your bill by the 15th of the month. Tuition bills will not be mailed to students homes.
Auto Debit: Dancer’s monthly tuition can be automatically debited from a credit card between the 1 st and 10 th of each month. Authorization forms are available at the front desk and can be autorized on-line. Discounted Monthly Tuition fees will apply (a general savings of $5.00 per month). If auto debits rejects for any reason, fee discounts may be withdrawn at the discretion of management and late fees may apply if account is not paid by the 15th of the month. You must separately authorize non-tuition charges (POS, store, recital fees and costumes).
Charge Accounts: Dancers over the age of 10 are allowed to “charge” drinks and snacks on their parent’s RDC account unless the parent denies the privilege. If you do not want your dancer to be able to charge drinks or snacks, please let the front desk know. Parents are responsible for all charges on their accounts. In some instances, adults may be allowed to “charge” RDC store items to their accounts for later payment. This privilege may be revoked or withheld at anytime at the discretion of management.
Recital Fees : Recital Performance Fees and costume charges, if the student is participating, will be due by a particular deadline.(generally early December and January). The deadline will be posted IN ADVANCE at the Front Desk, in the monthly newsletter and on the Website. It is the parents/guardians responsibility to keep informed on these and other due dates.
Other Fee Policies – All fees (tuition, registration fees, recital performance fees, costume fees, and tickets) are non-refundable. All outstanding balances must be paid in full before costumes or recital performance tickets are handed out. All outstanding fees must be paid in full before any student can perform in the Recital.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, RDC accepts all major credit cards. Account charges may also be paid by cash or check.
What is Auto Debit?
Auto debit is a way to reduce your monthly class fees and make it easier to pay for classes, store charges and recital costumes.
Dancer’s monthly tuition can be automatically debited from a credit card between the 1 st and 10 th of each month. Authorization forms are available at the front desk. Discounted Monthly Tuition fees will apply (a general savings of $5.00 per month). If auto debits rejects for any reason, fee discounts may be withdrawn at the discretion of management.
