REBECCA ANTOLIK (THORNE)          
           
 

Rebecca graduated with honors with a BFA in Ballet Performance from the University of Oklahoma where she was a member of Gamma Beta Phi and Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities. She has danced professionally with Ballet Arkansas, Arkansas Festival Ballet, Oklahoma Festival Ballet, Tulsa Ballet Theatre, Los Angeles Contemporary Ballet, and Universite Clermont-Ferrand, France. Rebecca has participated in workshops and master classes with the USA International Ballet Competition, Hubbard Street Dance and Alvin Ailey II. She has worked with such National Dance Competitions as Dance Champs, Spotlight Productions and National American Miss.

     
  She has appeared in TV, commercials and films as a dancer and has choreographed musicals for Pasadena Junior Theatre and the children’s DVD, “1,2,3 Tap.” Rebecca was the Ballet Director of The Vibe Dance Studio in Montrose, California for three years and is currently serves as Assistant Director and a choreographer for the award winning JK’s Dance Company.
     
  Rebecca has performed soloist roles such as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Arabian in The Nutcracker, Helena in A Mid-Summer's Night Dream, the Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty and Big Swans in Swan Lake. She performed in other classical ballets such as Graduation Ball, Romeo and Juliet, Copplia, and Cinderella. She has also danced in commercials for Eastwood Insurance, Toyota, Best Sports Show period and promos for Hot Springs National Park and ABC Family Channel. In addition to dance, Rebecca has performed with the sketch comedy group , Danny's Dying Wish, at Improv Olympic in Hollywood and at the Los Angeles Sketch Comedy Festival. She also completed the Dance Teacher Conference in New York in August 2005, and was recently nominated for Who's Who of American Women.
